Welcome to a new season of basketball! Registration will be open from August 5 - September 4, 2026. Anyone registering after this date may be waitlisted or unable to register.
We have been fortunate to not have to increase fees for a number of years and still have 2 practices a week, unfortunately costs have risen and we can no longer sustain our program without increasing fees. This year, fees will be $500 (prior years $450) plus $40 for Rebel Run for U10-U14 players. Fees will include a warm-up shirt that players can keep (this was a suggestion from membership at the AGM).
Fees will cover MBANS costs, BNS costs and insurance, gym rentals, warm-up shirt, coach training, technical development, equipment, etc. The fee structure will be as follows:
LR - $200 (includes ball and shirt to keep)
U10/U12/U14 - $540
U16/U18 - $500
In order to prevent ordering more than we need, we are keeping ball ordering completely separate from registration. The cost for a ball is $15 and a link to order if needed will be sent out when registration opens (or you can purchase your own elsewhere). Sizes are as follows:
LR - Do not need to order a ball, it is included in your package.
U10/U12 Girls and Boys - Size 5
U14/16/18 Girls - Size 6
U14/16/18 Boys - Size 7
Each year we receive more and more friend requests, it has become very cumbersome and causes delays in finalizing teams. As such, we will only be considering friend requests for LR, U10 and U12 age categories. Our policy is that both families must agree to the request and if after evaluations, the two players are on separate teams, they will be placed on the lower team (we will not be contacting parents if you have already approved the request to let you know they are being placed on a lower level team, you are acknowledging this when you submit a request).
Each year we are asked if we know what nights practices will be, we will not know this information until evaluations are completed and teams are formed with coaches assigned.
If you or someone you know is interested in coaching, they must register using the coach registration link, even if you are a returning coach or BOD member. In order to register as a coach, you must have an NCCP number which is free to obtain, you can sign-up using The Locker and you are required to complete the Safe Sport module. You will also be required to provide a copy of a criminal background and vulnerable sector check that has been issued within the last 3 years. These are mandatory, if you require new checks, we can provide a link at no cost, once we determine which coaches will be assigned to teams.
